Lövsta

Lövsta (agriculture)

Visit the living laboratory “Blandskap” at SLU Research Farm Lövsta. This living lab focuses on the reintegration of crop production and grazing animals in the same agricultural landscape and is unique in that it involves both animals and crop production in the same landscape experiment. This excursion will focus on plant pathogens in agricultural crops.

Morga hage

Krusenberg (forestry)

Krusenberg is located 15 km south of Uppsala and was purchased by SLU in 1996. In a narrow strip between Alsike church and Krusenberg manor there are pastures, dry hills and meadows of great natural value.

This excursion will focus on forest health and plant pathogens in two ecosystems south of Uppsala. We will visit two different sites – one coniferous forest site (Station A) and a more open forest pasture with ancient oak trees, ash and alm trees, which is part of Kungshamn-Morga nature reserve (Station B).
